• AUDIO AV & ELECTROACOUSTICS (ASSESSMENTS – SPECULATION & SYSTEM DESIGN)
A variety of different certified services can be provided over seven topics related to Acoustics, System design, Installation & commissioning, and training. Those different field services can be complied in local & international standards upon the specifications of the project. Close cooperation to project architects, engineers or owners needs described through specs would match the needs of services chosen.
Speculation of audio, AV and electroacoustic systems design consists of technical description, technical specs, RT measured or predicted, SPL mapping per room area, STi mapping per room area, block diagrams, cable diagrams, cable specs and routing, plan views of equipment and electronics rack layouts.
Software used is EASE® 4.4 and BOSE Modeler 6.8 or prediction software of other providers for specific brands analysis.
• ROOM ACOUSTICS SPECULATION – STUDY
Computer aided design software now-a days have changed completely the approach to problems of prediction of rooms acoustic measurements. Smart Project engineers use the most recent and accurate software of room modeling to represent complex geometry rooms in 3D. Software used is EASE® 4.4, AURA and EARS AhnertFeistal Media Group (AFMG) Acoustics and Sound systems design software. Through software like the above engineers can model complicated room acoustic designs in 3D by adding properties of materials to surfaces that consist room construction. This method is determinant for predicting the acoustic factors like room acoustic behavior parameters.
The speculation of such room acoustic projects, preview room-by-room behavior and provides the information of acoustic materials and intervention of acoustic treatments required to achieve the acoustic parameters suitable for room(s) under study. Includes typical calculations of:
• NOISE CONTROL SPECULATION – STUDY
Noise control is a very important part of construction stage and a determinative consideration suitable for majority of constructions of any kind of building.
Noise sources that can be reached indoor can include noise from adjacent room, ventilation noise or HVAC duct and fans noise, compressors noise, pump noise, generator noise etc.
Those different noise sources are analyzed in bandwidth OBCF through measurement or prediction modeling (or both for verification).
Smart Project engineers follow the three main steps to approach internal noise sources and control solutions to the problems. These steps are:
The speculation study includes noise problems quantified with measurements or predictions of planned noise sources. Also, includes proposed solutions with calculations, and mitigation and practicing measures to be constructed for noise control.
With use of INSUL 9.0 latest special software Smart Project engineers can safely predict structural materials behavior of noise reduction measured in Rw and the responding frequency analysis.
• SECURITY AUDIO SPECULATION - STUDY (ASSESSMENTS – SPECULATION & SYSTEM DESIGN)
The issue of security is more than ever important. Voice alarm systems should be reliable and energy-saving combining all important functions for PA/VA consisting a group of certified electronic rack-mount units and certified speakers. Designing such audio security systems specific specs under European and US standards should be applied.
The EN 54 standards became mandatory in 2013 in all EU member states by the construction product regulation 305/2011. Three parts of this standard ensure the functionality of the system under extreme environmental conditions:
Steps of design procedure include:
Most of current production EN-54 security sound systems are IP systems to simplify cable distances with reliability and easier fault inspection.
Speculation study includes:
• AUDIO - AV – SECURITY AUDIO INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING
Smart Project field engineers and the technician staff has delivered under difficult circumstances project installations and commissioning. Either working at height of 40-50m for speaker ringing or difficult aiming of speaker to field, as speculation study imposes.
Electronics are always according the proper cable arrangements and correctly built as per the rack layout of the speculation study. Unit tests, sound level measurements under pink noise or program are tested as well as frequency analysis is checked through the different project positions.
DSP programming and electronics parameter settings is integral part of the installation.
• COMMISSIONING AND MESUREMENTS
The commissioning procedure is one of the most important stage of a project. Speculation study is checked in comparison to applied and “as build” construction. Any divergence should be noticed and explained. As build measurements are very important to check final construction details and declining from initial predictions of the study.
Measurements are made with Class 1 measurement tools like precession microphones. These microphones should be calibrated every recommended by constructor time gap, depending from the frequently use of the measurement tool.
Smart Project uses iPrecesion Mic from Studio Six Digital and is connected to Apple iPAD and uses Audio Tools software.

• IT INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN
Questions that should be answered during IT infrastructure design stage is how secure, stable and reliable the network is. A network assessment should be performed to ensure how susceptible your network is to security problems or attacks, and also identify bottlenecks (like heavy users, poor network design or outdated hardware) that cause performance problems.
When a cluttered network is hamstringing your end users’ ability to be productive, the entire business suffers. By remediating performance issues and prioritizing and eliminating bottlenecks, you’ll discover noticeable boosts in staff efficiency, productivity and even satisfaction. To achieve this we perform steps as follow:
1. Critical System Summary
We focus in to understand your infrastructure and your business needs. Between our specialty network assessment tools and interviews with your team, we’re able to fully document all aspects of your current IT environment.
2. Business Impact Analysis
Our assessment identifies both risks and opportunities, allowing us to recommend and prioritize the mission-critical systems that will meet your business objectives.
1. Cost Reduction & Risk Mitigation
Optimizing your infrastructure is the goal, so we propose a strategic plan and budget for doing just that, along with tactical recommendations for mitigating cost and risks.
Further steps to IT infrastructure design
STEP1: Assessment
We don’t just examine the requirements here. We work to unify the entire project team around a clear vision. We create a high-level view of goals and challenges, setting the stage for an infrastructure that eliminates gaps and can help you realize operational gains.
STEP 2: Design & Develop
We analyze and document all requirements, from business to user and operational to system. We establish proof of concept, build solution components and thoroughly test. You and your users are involved throughout so that what we build supports the way you need to work and operate.
STEP 3: Deploy
We put your systems through rigorous final testing of all features under realistic conditions before pushing everything live. Then we continue to support you and your users to ensure a smooth rollout across your organization.
• USER & ENGINEERS TRAINING IN AUDIO/ACOUSTICS/SECURITY AUDIO/NOISE CONTROL SECTORS
Training of customer users and field engineers is critical for the correct use and understanding of commissioned systems.
Trainings & Seminars are consisted by two different parts. Specifically, a theoretical part of
1. Acoustics and Sound principles
2. Electroacoustics: Speakers & Electronics
3. Security Audio deployment
4. Noise Control methods
For each project specific trainings can be applied regarding the delivered project details and user control.
